Crikey it's a busy few weeks coming up, Barambah, Gladstone and then the Corrival. I hope my shoulder holds out.

A reminder - I sponsor a perpetual Trophy, the "Carbon Cup". It's for those Archers shooting a Recurve, Longbow or Arrows that do not quite comply with the Traditional Archery rules and guidelines at the Caboolture Corrival can still have a Shot and compete for the Carbon Cup if they wish. The Carbon Cup is seperate altogether from the Corrival and only Ist place is awarded. I will be supplying a Custom Armguard for First Place as well as their name engraved on the Perpetual Trophy.

Righto, looks like I will be attending this shoot 8) My brother has only just (I mean only just) picked up a spare Smokey Longbow I had spare here & is keen to attend the shoot as he lives down that way.
So we are going to travel down & stay with them & attend the shoot 8)

Is there anything special we need to know about for this shoot over any of the others ?

Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.

It's a great Trad shoot, 'cause it's a Trad shoot, format pretty similar to Gladstone.

I'm hoping to get to this shoot but will have to see how the finances pan out. I know I really enjoyed it last year.

This should get you out of trouble.

I suggest you get there to register well before 8.30am on Saturday, if not camping out for the weekend.

Hi Guys!

We are all looking forward to the shoot on the weekend! Weather forecast so far looks GREAT! (Which is awesome for us, as we are almost always guaranteed to get rained on!)

Details about our club can be found at www.caboolturebowmen.com.au

We have once again planned some fine food to keep you all warm and happy, starting with a free sausage sizzle on Friday night and Bacon & Egg Rolls on Saturday for Breaky! (Prices start at $4 for breakfasts/$3-$4.50 for lunch and $12 for a yummy belly warming 2 course dinner on Saturday night!)

Nominations will be taken from Friday night and again on Saturday morning. Shooting should commence around 8.30am - 9.00am on both days.

Thank you to Sue for keeping everyone up to date on the "Sleeps" count down.

Gates will be open for early arrivers on Thursday morning, toilets and showers will be available, however, canteen facilities will not commence until Friday night.

See you all there!!
