W O W!
That's a great donation you are giving the shoot Mark! Your time and a wonderful crafted bow.

No doubt about it! You mix with the best at these shoots.

Hi Ian
The Donation is from another member, Mark is judging the prize.

But whilst we are talking Mark Eastham "Big Kahuna" (bowyer of the southern skies) yes he is donating a bow for a raffle. The tickets will be for sale at our shoot to be drawn at the LB100 Australia day weekend 2013. Photos of the Bow will be up on the site after next weekend when I arrange for them to be taken. We are talking Osage about #50 Longbow I have seen it and it is a dream, Mark himself sits there drooling over it and I would not be surprised if he sleeps with it much to Annette's displeasure
For you new comers the LB100 is a three day event during Australia Day weekend 2013 it is for all types of bows but us Tradders suggest LB stands for Long Bow not Lilydale Bowmen.

I stand corrected. Still the effort and time put in by the member to produce the bow and offer it is great great.
3 sleeps to go and counting down.

Just so you can feel better Mark one of Red Kev arras was found and is now in my care.
Mate a well deserved trophy it is only fair that you should show your trophy to the masses. By the way the said arra on your trophy was "donation' by Scrub Bull Mark Harvey on a past sojourn to Lilydale. :surprised:
Thanks for the praise to the team much appreciated. Thanks to those who came and those who had other committments and sent their best wishes.
For Trad to survive in Melbourne we need to support each others events. the 40 that came certainly had a jammed packed two days 100 3D targets over two days using Lilydale rules meant most people shot around 300 arras 8) and Knife and axe throwing.

And who will ever forget last night dinner Jenny and the team were brilliant full on Roast meal with apple pie cream and chocolate mousse. With the Vension supplied by Dirk a club member who joined us to try out a longbow today for the first time. No body went home hungry.
See you on the Trad trail.

hoooody hoot hoooody hoot what a great shoot!

100 targets with the potential of 200 arrows. Loved the 2 elk ( 1 standing and 1 sitting) and the 4 pigs where you had to shoot over long grass and into a clearing and then select 1 of 4 pigs then hit the pigs

Lashings of food. The tucker was scrumptious! Venison. Yum. Followed by apple pie and cream.

Great company and the weather held off for us.

Well done and a hearty congratulations to all the members of Lilydale.

  Twas fun. Twas fun    fo

To busy having a great time slinging a few arrows and drinking, although I do beleive some one decided to shed some clothes and there was a rumor of a some footage taken. I only heard about on the sunday morning at breakfast. The only photos I took was of the large Raptor and a fast flowing creek. As for the other it may only be a nasty Rumor. Cheers Roadie.
