Evening Folks, thanks again to Barambah for the good company and a top shoot. I had not been out to Barambah for close to 20 years, was good to get back there. I especially enjoyed the shortened Clout Range, nothing like loosing a Shaft into the Shy and watching it Fly way out yonder

Yea, another great shoot has come and gone. Having never shot a clout shoot before i discovered it was the easiest way to send arrows off to the great big arrow haven in the sky. Took me 10 practice and 20 actual shots before I got 3 arrows that scored! Good fun though. Only 'winge' would be that scoring once again led to some miner controversy regarding the A- B zone and just what constituted the scoring area for the 10 points. That really needs to be elaborated on at any shoot. For mine it wouldn't matter as my scores never trouble the honour roll at any time, but others found themselves down by a considerable amount because of scoring the A zone only as 10 points. As I say only a minor point apart from freezing my knackers off on the Saturday night ,Sunday morning but hey I'm originally from NQ where if it gets below 20. its cold.Congrats, Barambah.

Hi Everyone

Thanks to all at Barambah for their wonderful company, and to all archers for allowing me to tag along and shoot my camera:) Thanks especially to Liz and Trevor for being so welcoming and showing me the ropes with a few things.

Attached are some photos from Saturday.

Hey Marji you take absolutely wonderful photos. You really know how to capture life.

A huge big thank you to the Barambah club for a great weekend once again with a wide variety of events and some creative target placements.
It may have drizzled all day Friday, we didn't get the predicted 80mm so those who didn't come "because of the wet stuff, and you know who you are" missed a beauty.
The cold nights were soon forgotten by the glorious sunny days of the shoot.
A definate for us Trad enthusiasts.
Now we can do it alllllll again, in a couple of weeks time at Gladstone.
Great to catch up with everyone and see you soon.

cheers

Great shoot again this year 8) some great fun & challenging shots.
I got to meet some more great people, have a few drinks & listen to a heap of stories.
Even got to play with a couple of well known Aussie recurves 8)

Thanks everyone, a great event & heaps of fun.

Great photo Margi. You have a great passion for photography. It was interesting to watch another enthusiast at work. Once again, great pics & great to meet you.

Hey All,

Have contacted the Score Recorder who included the shoot in her honeymoon, and have asked for the scores to be posted when she returns.

Also did ya know, 5 of the 6 top recurve shooters where all shooting Australian made takedown recurves 2 Raven, 3 Huntsman. That's one for the Aussie bowmakers.
