The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!

Morning all
Nice to be back after Ozbow was out for a short time.
The October Long weekend is just a week away.
Gates will be open from Thursday for the early birds.
This year we have made it a little easier for newcommers to find us.
There will be 2 bright yellow feather flags with black lettering HVTA at the entrance, hopefully they will be seen from the freeway.
As always if you need to know more, contact me but I will not be able to answer as of Friday....I'm at the shoot
Hope to see you all there, it's all for a good cause.

Afternoon all
Well, the weekend is almost upon us & we at HVTA are ready for the Charity shoot for "Cerebral Palsy"
Yes I must admit we have had quite a bit of wet weather lately but that won't stop us from having a great weekend.
The weather forecast is for showers Saturday & Sunday....hopefull it won't be as heavy like it was these past couple of days.
There are some Queenslanders already camping at the club, so that shows some dedication...a few more arriving tomorrow.
Look forward to seeing you.

three cheers and a big thank you to the crew at hunter valley for putting on a great shoot and raising money for charity other clubs should take your lead, every one had fun despite the rain on sunday. it was good to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones .always a pleasure gazza.
Re: HVTA "CHARITY SHOOT"
We at HVTA had a great weekend despite the wet weather.
Thank you to all that braved the wet........atleast we got to complete the shoot.
We raised $2300 for Cerebral Palsy.
Other clubs should take a leaf out of our book....for the past 3 years we have given $6000 to charities, along with $1500
towards the Qld floods.
I will put up photo's very soon..... although I did not venture far from the canteen...I did get to take a few
HVTA is also on Facebook...there are photo's on there.
Once again, thank you to all who made this shoot a successful one, look forward to the Gathering next year as well as our 4th Annual Charity shoot next year.

Looks like everyone had a good time as usual but you lot sure seem to like rain.
Good on HVTA for raising money for worthwhile charities.

Re: HVTA "CHARITY SHOOT"
It was sugested by one of our club members that we hold the "Gathering" & Charity Shoot on the Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur or Fri before both the long weekends.. that way we can be assured that it will be fine weather
Trish
ps..... maybe our club should hold a shoot somewhere where they desperately need rain
