I hope it is one arrow at each target and then hand in your score card like all other events. Last year you could do it all again and if your score was better you could hand that score card in and that's BS!

Personally if you get the chance of another round and enjoy the shoot experience is a great idea if you want to do it. As for scoring etc you'd only be cheating yourself but then again if scoring is that important don't shoot in my group I am my own benchmark and a good shot / angle and a low score is much more satisfying than a great score and a poor shot for that situation thesame as a clean miss is better than a gutshot lucky the rubber doesn't take off and lead me on a merry chase to clean up eh. Let's not get bent out of shape before we even shoot and just enjoy the event for what it is. A trad shoot not olympic selection.

Let's all just get excited about shooting the event with all our favorite characters and set a great example for the cubs, juniors and all our peers alike.

Less than a week to go yeehah

'then hand in your score card like all other events.'

Trad shoots are not like 'all other events' Host clubs endeavour to put on a weekend of fun shooting and renewing friendships.

All competitors have equal opportunities at a second round so I cannot understand what your gripe is about.

If health is poor, doing it all again is not on equal ground to a healthy person, and that is that. :!:

There will be 30 x 3D targets to shoot each day. You will receive one score card only for each day, to be handed in at the end of shooting the 30 targets.

Registrations will be taken on the Friday night and Saturday morning prior to shooting commencing.

We hope to see you all there with the intention of having a great time!

The guys have been working hard this week preparing the grounds for you to enjoy!

See you there.....

Johnny I am a little confused; you've just had a fair Tanty on here and now you want to to shoot another range on the same weekend?

Just dust the bow off mate, you need to get out, have a shoot and straighten out.

The Corrival for me, North Albert, Gladstone, Caboolture and hopefully the future Gympie/Imbil shoots are the significant Trad shoots i try not to miss, it's more than just a few targets it's the Trad crowd and all fun shoots.

Terry, we have plenty of firewood around... so no need to BYO!

We moved our shoot up one weekend on the calendar so that it wouldn't clash with the Huntingdale shoot, as it did last year as well. Unfortunately the Grange also changed their date, so we clash again!

What sort of tradbows can be shot at these big traditional shoots? All of them? Or are some styles of tradbow (i.e. the modern deflex-reflex bows) not allowed? Or would they be placed in the recurve division? I've heard various reports about bow rules for trad shoots, so hope somebody can set me straight.

It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

If your coming from up North best bet is too take the Buchanan Rd exit off the Hwy, follow it close too 3 K's until you come to the High School. There is a right hand bend, go under the Rail Bridge and then you'll see the Morayfield Shopping Centre. Follow the Road around the Southern end of it until you get to the Lights at the intersection of Morayfield Rd and Caboolture River Rd. Go straight ahead onto Caboolture River Rd. Follow your nose for approx 10 K and you'll see a small Tip on the Right. Just past this turn left into Phelps Rd.

For those coming from the South. Take the Morayfield Rd exit off off the Hwy. Follow your nose until you see Bunnings on your left. Turn left into Walker Rd and follow your nose 4K's or so along until you reach the Intersection of Walker Rd and Caboolture River Rd. You will drive past a Primary School and then a Kindy as you near the intersection. About 8 K's up turn left into Phelps Rd

NOTE RE CARBON CUP - As many of you may be aware I'm not a member of Caboolture anymore and last year in the Spirit of being inclusive and welcoming to those Archers that shoot Traditional style bows who do not own a set of Timber Arrows for whatever reason I donated a seperate Trophy called the CARBON CUP. This Trophy is completely seperate to the Corrival. It is not an officiall division of the Corrival or any other Trad Shoot

So any folks who do not own or shoot a set of wood arrows please feel welcome to come along to the Corrival and if you wish compete for the CARBON CUP and most importantly enjoy the weekend.

To be honest until I was reminded the other day I had not let the commitee of Caboolture Bowmen know it would be run again this year. I apologise to all who had wondered !!!

HERE'S A LINK TO THE RULES/ DEFINITIONS
