Re: 2011 Caboolture Traditional Corrival 20-21 August 2011
Had a great weekend folks. Thanks to all the Caboolture crew for putting on the Corrival. Enjoyed the coarses and the Canteenc was tops. Loved the Beetroot Cake - Yum
I'm pretty sure this was the 9th so next year should be a beauty.
It was great to catch up to everyone. Sorry I had too bail a little early but it worked out well, won a Cat 3D target and Elva was kind enough to drop it by. Thanks too all you clowns who called for a redraw
regards Jacko

Re: 2011 Caboolture Traditional Corrival 20-21 August 2011
I posted a post myself a while ago but it disappeared into the ether. As Perry and Terry said . a great shoot marred a little by bloody cold weather Friday night and some rain on sunday, but hey I'm getting soft.Great course, people and fun events, and the Hawkeye saw only one archer from the nominated ranks hit the dot on the elimination round and Keith S got to have five shots at glory and a VERY tidy sum at the next distance. Alas poor Yorrick, twas not to be , and the hawkeye booty lives on to the next trad shoot to tempt and tantalise the mercenary.[ 'n' who aint?] Gympie has one mid October and I for one hope to be there hopefully with mark 2 bow in hand.

I had a great weekend at the Corrival, a big thank you to the Caboolture club, committee and members for making it possible.
Johney recurve? was he at the shoot? Didn't hear any wingers there so maybe he went to the Huntingdale instead
Daryl.

Always have a good time and great company; well put on and was great to see the club guys having a go with a stick and having a great time. I hope we see them at some of the other trad shoots with a stick shooting sticks.

Hey Rod,
There were lots of people looking out for me over the weekend, and letting me know where all the sticks were. So I was very "stable" and didn't fall down once.,,,,, and I mustn't forget to say hello to Lotsathings.
Hope you can make it to Gympie.
cheers

We at Caboolture would like to thank you all very much for all your kind words of thanks. As you know our committee and majority of members are wheelie bow shooters, and it is great to know that we can set awesome ranges for you stick and wood shooters to enjoy! We always have a great time hosting this shoot for you.... See you all again, same time next year. And if you would like the sticky date puddin again, better start voting for it!!!
