2011 11th North Albert Traditional Rendevous

Well it's on again . The 11th Annual North Albert Trad Rendezous will be held on the Easter long weekend at the NAFA club grounds half way between Brisbane and the Gold coast ( see map). All traditional archers welcome. On grounds camping .hot showers. Check out the flyer. The mail out will go out to all the usual suspects in a few weeks. :lol: Don't miss this great event.

Not sure mate his work is a bit up and down at the moment but he is very much into the bows and bow building again so I hope so.

Hi stringnstick,

Polo style shirt with pocket made in Australia. Shirt colour Maroon, ink colour probably white, will follow the advise of the screen printer.

The image will be on the pocket and on the back of the shirt.

LH bow to borrow for 11th North Albert Traditional Rendevous

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help my brother out with a bow loan.
Firstly I have a plan B, so its not desperate.
Plan A tho would go something like this.
By brother would like to borrow a bow for the Nrth Albert shoot.
Lefty and either recurve or longbow around the 35lb.
Hes not worried about getting a good score, just a beginner really.
I have arrows.

My problem is Im making a bow for him so dont want to buy. I can lend him mine but that would mean Id have to shoot my warbow. My back has been dodgy so Id rather not do that for the whole w/e. He is also not used to the higher poundages yet so hence he would be happier with a light 25-35 wee beasty.


So if anyone is going to Nrth Albert and has a spare LH bow they dont mind lending out we'd be much appreciated.

Much thanks.. one less thing I have to sort out. A 35 will make it much more enjoyable for him than struggling with my 45..dont want to put him off trad this soon :)
