while i think of it,
anyone can get along to not only the above mentioned shoots, but any of the 3daaa sanctioned shoots. they are always 2 day affairs with 50 3d targets.
only problems are most of them are north of sydney (and as far north as the sunshine coast in Qld), and you are always outnumbered by compounds about 10 : 1. :(

you can check dates on the website http://www.3daaa.com.

anyone can just turn up (temp memberships available on the day, just tell 'em Matt Hood sent ya to receive................well, lets face it. you will probably get asked to leave!!

nah, Terry, Al (association head honchos) and all the local clubs are fairly easy going and you should have a good time.

cheers

Hmm, another post I missed?

Will try to make the DIAMOND VALLEY shoot, as they are my old club and I'v been meaning to rejoin.

Matt, that 3DAAA site is one of the better OZ archery sites, IMO!

Aha!

I also have a lot of time for them after a phone call of support from one of their senior members at a time when I felt particularly low :!:

Good guys and gals, as far as I can see...

WRC 555 yes the training wheel brigade out number us at least 10 to 1 but its quality not quantity that counts. All that aside it should be a great event . no bare bow recurve/longbow shoots over 30 yards ,realistic distances for most of us , and every 3DAAA event in Victoria has allways had at least 1 barebow recurve/longbow shooter in the top 10 shoot out. just to show them techno dudes how it is ment to be done. ALL archers welcome.Erron been along time no see. Steve (broke my recurve now I got a long bow) hope you make it over to the club even if only to say Gday.
