#1 Post by jamie » Sat Sep 20, 2008 12:32 pm

went on my first trad hunt the other day in the bathurst area chasing goats.was lucky enough to get two billies one at eight metres and the other at three metres on the run,tex guided my nephew to his first kill and another mate who i only recently met at the wisemans ferry shoot ,shot his first goat and it was his first trad animal. so it was a pretty good day alround,sorry no pictures forget to take my camera .

Yes, you're doing well to bag game on your first trad hunt. Back when I first started, I didn't draw any blood for the first year or so. :?

Congratulations and well done! :wink:

Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Well done jamie, to take game on your first hunt is fantastic. I've hunted plenty of times without even seeing the game I was after and it was still a great time so I can only imagine what it must have been like :)

Well done, and many happy returns of the day to you all! :D

It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Good on you all....Jamie, Lance and Tex. Teamwork and mates....only gets better if you supply the evidence.

Spring time gets the feet itching for the odd long walk.

By the way, I have been given / invited onto a property a bit past Wollongong with deer which are viewed as pests in their orchard. Might be an opportunity to return some venison sausages. how many seats in the old bus...hmmm...????

As I know the young fella concerned is a very serious archer and a great bloke [definitely NOT the dress type] I thought I'd let it go....but as Buford pointed it out I cannot leave it alone.....who won the fight?????

I think it is really great that you all worked together to achieve so many firsts in a day....

Tex.....no sneaky tears in your kit or caboodle?
