It amazes me Glenn how those digital zooms work. To get a good standard zoom lense to bring things up that close would cost thousands. Jeff

what 'X Zoom' was the camera! They are great! You usually lose clarity and it goes all fake and pixely - assuming the distance was great.....

I think that it's the first digital camera that panasonic have brought out, it's only 2 megapixles but it has a Lieca lens. The camera wasn't very dear, only about $700.oo. All of those photos were taken on the 12x optical zoom but you can 3 times that with digital zoom but the digital zoom is a bit grainy. I took all of the photos in high resolution so I can print them out later for photos or publishing, but the photos on this site have been reduced by half their normal quality so they wont take to long to load. The photos in the high resolution are much better and so clear, you cat tell that they are not an actual photo....Glenn...
