"Bear" Meets Fox

#1 Post by Axe » Fri Jun 22, 2007 11:26 am

This vixen was unfortunate enough to meet "The Bear", she was resting 15m away when the 700grn arrow awoke her...but only momentarily

Smile-Time!

It's good to see other "big" fellas still ghostin' the ground successfully. Axe, I said it earlier... it's good to see your sign again.

How did you find her mate? Did you just stumble on her or did you know she would be about? Am interested in going after some foxes soon so am interested to know how you did it :-)
Shoot it and move on

I was out scouting the bush when I saw her laying in a sunny spot next to a tree :)
If your quiet enough, wind in your favour and take it slow it's not unusual to "stumble" onto them whilst hunting, but if you are especially fox hunting, whistling is the best option IMO :)
