A few pictures I like and thought I'd share. The Arrows are Manuel Agius brand(cresting). heritage carbon shafts, black stump broadheads, and Howard Hill Tembo longbow.

They look nice Adam. 8) Manuel's cresting is almost perfect. Nice colour combos too.

What do you think of the Howard Hill Tembo as a shooting bow?

Thanks Mick, the Tembo is a fine shooter, easy in the hand.

My old 1970's version Howard Hill 'Redman' feels as though it's hooked up to a car battery when you shoot it. On the other hand, I tried a new Howard Hill Redman recently and it was all together a different bow. It was smooth to draw where as mine feels as though it's full 52# cuts in the moment you commence the draw and stays there till full draw. The newer version seemed to have a lot more "punch" as well.

Although my old Howard Hill might not be much of a bow when compared with newer ones, it still holds a special place on my bow rack, as I bought it brand new in 1971 and it's killed a truck load of game over the years. It only been in recent years that I discovered just how bad it was, before that I was more than happy with it.

Nice pics and beautiful arrows. That's the first time I've seen vented Black Stumps. Actually I just recieved some non-vented Black Stumps from Dr Ashby. I've not field tested them yet. Have you had good success with these heads. They sure look like they are put together very well. CK

Hi Adam, I was admiring Manuels cresting at the Gathering, He handed me three matched, numbered, crested arrows to see how they would fly out of my bow. I shot them and they all grouped where I aimed. I went to hand them back and he said "They're yours" I was and still am floored by his generosity. He is GREAT man, extremely friendly and encouraging to everyone, I cant wait to meet him again :) Steve

Hey Steve, a lot of archers have walked away with that same experience from Manuel, I got so sick of him give me dozens of fletched and crested arrows for nothing that now I'll only take them if we trade.

Top bloke that makes a dead eye mean arrow.
