Just a thought - maybe should be its own thread - by nature of what we do we are all, I would say, keen observers and appreciate the country we spend our time in hunting. We would all have a photo or two worth posting to give a visual hit for others of the type of country we enjoy. I don't mean dead animals, (though they can be done tastfully as well), more general sceens and wildlife.
A photo usually stimulates discussion. Can help putting faces to names as well (not sure if thats always a good thing )
A bonus might be that if we are talking antis then this might help even some of them begin to realise our affection for the bush.

That's a great idea!
As I said in that post, "It struck me when I hunted with Guy Curtis
(Gundy) how varied our country is, and how many differing habitats there are to hunt in."
So, show us some of the country you hunt/rove/stump shoot in! If we get a good spread of photos, I'll put up a separate album dedicated to the subject!

Here you go...northern NSW...not exactly my 'stamping ground' but where I've been/go hunting all the same.

OK,
Fallow hunting with my daughter on a small coastal island near Victoria, BC
Ya, it's a gun hunt but I was helping a land owner with an over population problem on a small island (island's ~540 Ha)
scouting for moose on my mountain bike- central BC
Stone sheep hunting with my cuz- Northern BC
RC
hmmm... me thinks I need to find a better resolution scanner.
That which doesn't kill me better run for cover...

Tuffcity,
Thanks for the photos. I have a friend in Calgary who bowhunted a lot in your neck of the woods. Those mountains sure would be tough to hunt.
Great to see that you take your daughter out hunting as well. It's something that all parents should do I believe. Teach them while they're young to appreciate the outdoors.

Who's the ugly mongrel marring that last shot!?
Couldn't you have edited that out?
Folks, Gundy and I climbed that bluff in the second shot, which I could use as an excuse for the sour facial expression
And no comments from you Trashies about the daisies, either
Now Guy, about those Turkeys...
interesting shots - mostly - thanks mate,
