Hi Jeff,
Thank you...
I was lucky enough to pickup this Glenn Newell bow from a mate...
It’s a obviously a bamboo backed longbow with the belly wood being a species of Eucalyptus from the Gordonvale district at Cairns...
It’s a beautiful bow to shoot, very quiet and dead in the hand...
And as always I’m shooting woods...

Thanks Guy, it looks a nice bow. Yes wood arrows; the only way to go.

Hey Jeff,
Yes mate I’ve pretty much shot wood since getting my first bow... I started with a set of alloy arrows and then a couple dozen carbons followed by the woods and never looked back...
For some reason I get so much more satisfaction in making and taking game with woods...
By the way I’ve been using the 3 blade Woodsmans on all my deer and small game hunts... I’ve been finding them to be very effective...
Cheers Guy

That's it mate; same here and I have no desire to try those syntharras.

I'll just keep using the Ribbies as I have a good supply of them. Sadly I haven't got out for a hunt for quite some time but one day again hopefully. Enjoy your time out bush mate.
