The Black widow I shot the black and white Billy with, was only delivered to my house two days before we left, set the nocking point to suit me and we are off hunting
I found this Stick insect on a bush next to the car

Bob and myself with a nice eater that he shot right between the eyes from about forty meters
with his wheelie bow, we made a nice stew out of it and I tanned the skin and its now on my bedroom floor.

We had given up hunting as it was absolutely dead still and as I took the photo we could hear goats running away from us, just the right of where I took the photo. We also had a storm come thru one night that woke Mick and Bob as they thought the shearers quarters was going to blow away and Ken and myself slept thru it and did not hear a thing  My Old man used to say, Could sleep under a barbwire fence in a thunder storm,
that's me  . Matt
