My Club organized a hunting trip for August with four members going. On our first day at the property, we had two game cameras and I set mine up at Eight mile tank and there was a family of Wood ducks on it.
The next picture is of a Nightjar that flew out of an upright hollow log as I walked past it. Ken checking his GPS tracks out, he and myself walked almost
100 kilometers in the week at the property In the next pic this Major Mitchell Cockatoo land on the tree I was leaning against, but I had to keep thumping the tree to get it to look down for a good photo Ken in sneaky mode as there are about twenty goats just thru the tree in front of him. Success,he shot this nice eating size goat from five meters and the mob didn't even know what happen and just feed away. I shot this Billy at about three meters and threaded the arrow thru two bushes to get him and had to do it quick as there was a nanny about to cut my wind, two meters away. Matt
When I got home from the trip and loaded the photo's of the game camera on to my computer in the first picture was a big feral cat and when I picked up the camera from the tank, there was not a duckling left on it, the cat must have got the lot.The next picture is of a Nightjar that flew out of an upright hollow log as I walked past it.
