Ozbow

Haven't posted for quite a while as I've been fighting and winning in a battle against cancer, but finally healthy enough to get out with my metal monster bow. Dang dry out that was for sure. I had hoped to set up my game cam over a water hole but it and a spring at another site were dry. So I took on targets of opportunity.

Thanks bigbob. It was a fun project and let me salvage a set of limbs that came out 25lbs too heavy. I redesigned my riser and way over estimated the effect it would make. I narrowed the limbs to 1 1/16" wide at the base and they still came in at 67lbs. This 21" riser with 2" of deflex let me get the weight to a shootable 52lbs and 68" nock to nock. Before I became too weak to shoot these limbs on a 17" riser at 67lbs it shot a 675 gr arrow drawn 28" at 188 fps. Would have been good for way bigger game than we have around here.
