Weipa fishing trip

Just got back from a quick 4 day fishing trip to Weipa and thought i would add a few pics of some of the fish i caught.

Sigh! those pics bring back great memories. Looks a bit like Pera Heads area in the background. Bit envious , bet you enjoyed yourself!

Not actually sure what the heads were called but it was past red cliffs area if thats a help.
Yes had a ball although the sharks taking the fish half way in ended up getting to me.

sounds like it was somewhere near Pera Heads, great spot. We nearly run over a sailfish one day as it was sun baking on the surface.Sharks always a problem too.

Yes Bob you are correct, It was down near Pera heads.

It was great fishing Rod, only used lures and jigs and in 3 days fishing caught 25 different species.
