New Curve Blooded.

#1 Post by UPTHETOP » Mon Apr 20, 2015 7:33 pm

Well on my yearly Deer trip with the Chuckster I managed to get my yearly Rabbit but this time with the recurve bow that I made myself last year, the poundage to small for big game but just right for small ones. Making your own gear and fulfilling the dream with your own gear with it on game always completes a milestone in a Bow hunters Bowyers journey I recone.

Cheers Wayno

 Yes, well done, I just love underground Mutton in the pot. With temperatures dropping in our district there is nothing better.
I even use the longest part of the fur when the skin is dried and cut it into long strips, then allowing it to be wrapped around the nock end of an arrow this makes for the coolest and cheapest flu-flu arrows. 8)

Nice job Wayno, bunnies might be small but they're fun to hunt and pretty hard to hit in the right spot.

They're not easy to bag, that's for sure. Well done Wayno.
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

I miss Hunting Rabbit's numbers are very low where I Hunt. Cant think of much more fun than Hunting Rabbits with a Recurve, favourite Rabbit Recipe Wayno
