Sheep farmers hate foxes with a vengeance. I suppose we all should hate them for the damage they do to our native wildlife. I certainly don't hate them though. Where I usually hunt rabbits and foxes, the farmer is always very interested to hear about any foxes I've seen. He's usually delighted when, on the odd occasion, I actually bag one of them. It is for this reason that I will sometimes take shots at foxes that I wouldn't want to take on other species. Like yourself, I have always done my utmost to ensure any suffering is minimised.

Foxes are a great little game animal for bowhunters. Well done on your success.
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Ah, I don't hate them at all, actually I respect them as great hunters and lucid creatures but I 'am also aware of the impact they cause to the environment.

Just out of curiosity, what sort of a fox whistle do you prefer?
