Recurve claims rabbit

#1 Post by Slab » Tue Nov 25, 2014 1:57 pm

Whilst attempting to whistle in some foxes I stumbled across some bunnies. Wearing a home made gilly suit I got within 12m, the unsuspecting rabbit was sitting under a large branch, coming to full draw, anchoring and ignoring all the wood around the rabbit I released. The 125gr tusker spirit flew truly pegging the bunny into the ground. Even though I was hunting on my own I yelled out "I got him I got him" and even did a little dance. My first rabbit with a recurve.

People don't get enough credit for hitting bunnies. Especially when you're talking about hitting a heart that is no bigger than a 5c piece or lungs which are not much bigger. Well done Slab.
