First one for my Gringa Curve...
Took this one in July in a local cane field.
The stalk invovled a 20m belly-crawl through a run off drain (dry thankfully) and a sneaky creep aongside the full grown cane as the hare sat broadside.
Got into about 15m and a vic ash shaft tipped with 160 grain ribtek had him down in about 20m. Being fairly low on the food chain and hunting them in the headlands between cane blocks always makes for a challenging, and more often than not, frustrating hunt. But is always good to see onr hit the deck!

Re: First one for my Gringa Curve...
uh, it is easier to sneak up on fallow than on hare
And those hares..you know..they are smaller
well done
I'am not commenting any buffalo hunt just because I'm so jealous
