Wilson Goat Hunt...!
Hi Guys,
Just thought I would show you a few pictures of my recent couple of days hunting...
Here are some pictures of a couple of nice boars fighting over an in season sow....
The sow managed to catch my scent under the swirling wind conditions and no shot was taken...
I think the last picture could be captioned " Making Bacon "
This next picture is the shot I took on the unsuspecting Billy... It was a nice quartering away shot 30 yards across the gully between the two big trees...
And here is the end result... Billy going down in 25 meters... I was very happy with the result as it was this bows first shot on game... YeeHaa...!
Thanks for watching... Cheers Guy...

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!

Looks like you had a great couple of days Guy. That billy sure had a nice set of horns on him; very unusual. Thanks for the photos - excellent!

Awesome!
Twisty set of horns on that goat mate!
I guess there wasn't a chance to sneak in for a double whammy on the last pig shot??

Hey Guy, a nice bit of hunting with a good result.
What was you set up as to bow, arrows and broadheads.
The pictures show us that it is a good looking set up.
Thanks.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your kind words...
The arrows are 55-60# German Pine shafts... Spliced 5'' trueflight feathers with 160grn Grizzly single bevelled broadheads...
I asked Thunderhorn to make a bow quiver to match the colors of the bow... I think they did a pretty sweet job...
Ill try and get some pictures of the bow in the next few days...
Cheers Guy

Nice Billy and and good shooting, nice to see some hunting photos of game. Just unlucky you didn't get a crack at the boars.
