Hi all
Finally got out hunting. Went off too Euston NSW on a Massive wheat property, I think it was 80000 odd acres. Most of the time was spent
shooting bang sticks. I did get to stalk one mob of goats. They were originally about 500metres away, but we spooked a roo who in turn
spooked the goats, who ran over a km.
So, off I went tree to tree untill I was out of trees about 40m away. Camo works good... they had no clue I was there. I took a shot, going about 3 inches below the chest of a nice black billy, he stood there looking around to where the arrow landed. Then a rabbit saw me about 5 metres way and bolted straight thru the mob of goats. They ran and didn't stop. As I didn't have a clue where I was I decided to head back to the 4wd.
Disappoint but resonable please at getting a shot off.
I did bag a couple of goats, a feral cat, heaps of rabbits and 2 foxes with Rifles, So it was a great trip. I need to practice at over 20m, once I'm fit again.
My brother has a few photos, but hasn't sent them yet.

Seems like the game was more than a bit on edge with all the noise of the bang sticks Rob.

Always good to get out mate!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!
