Blooded the new bow

#1 Post by Fanto » Sat Sep 28, 2013 11:53 am

just a quick post,

got out for a hunt yesterday and got these two billies.

got the black and white one at about 8 yards, he just turned around and grunted a bit. i put in a second arrow to be safe which i think cut through his heart, and he fell over on the spot after about 20 seconds.

the white one was at a bit over 15 yards. he was broadside and Im pretty sure i got both lungs, was happy with the shot especially due to the fact that the arrow was the one from the last billy and was blooded, and the feathers werent doing much.

the bow is a marvel of power. all three arrows were complete pass throughs with the first and third shot continuing at such pace into the brush that i never recovered the arrows. (GT trads with mick backer's broadheads with the crap name, 130gr)

cheers for looking

may your arrows fly straight and true and your limbs return.

Top work Fanto,

It's good hunting when you can get under 10m of game...

Good hunting mate...!

Cheers Guy
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!
