Hi guys,

I thought a few of you may like to see my recent hunt with my new Norseman Bamboo backed Bow...

I managed to call eight foxes to the whistle on this hunt, with only three offering shoots...

I knocked over the first fox with the bows first arrow at game, so I was a happy camper...

The second shot was a miss, with the arrow sailing over the young foxes back...

The third shot was on target with the fox expiring where he was hit...

So the Norseman Bamboo Backed bow is 2 from 3 arrows... I just hope it success can continue...

Well done mate . Try and leave some foxes for the rest of us And another new bow I see how many is that now must be close to 15 I reckon. The handle grip looks nice what kind of leather is that. Thanks for posting always nice to read your stories

Hi Graydon, The arrows are the woodies I made up for the Huntsman, they come out real nice and the broadheads are Outback traditionals, which are a very nice broadhead...

Hi mate, the only problem is that I’m a bit of a spur of the moment type of hunter... Sometimes I don’t even know when I’m going hunting...

I read the title and got worried the foxes were wearing bamboo armor lol. Good to see they are still vunerable.

Nice shooting and a nice bow.
One of the chaps at my local club, Sydney Bowmen, by the name of Howard has something similar from Nick.

He also has a selfbow made by Nick - tis very pretty and shoots impressively given it is just a shaped stick with no glass, carbon, sound dampening harmonics or other do-hickeys

Great stuff Guy, a first outing doesn't get much better than that. If you hadda plugged the second fox for 3 from 3, you would had to buy drinks to get anyone to believe it . Sweet looking bow too mate , would love to develop the skills to make such a thing of beauty.
