March April fish and hunt
Been out and about around the lovely state of NSW over the past month and a half, hunting pigs, goats and seeing a few deer too, plus trouting and chasing a few pelagics land based. Success has been limited but I tell you what having not been able to hunt seriously for two years it has been great to get back into it.
Small boar taken from five metres.
Nice brown
and another
Rabbit from around 25 metres
Bonito on the 7wt
Salmon
Bait
Hooked up to a good longtail on 10kg.
Good mate of mine in serious trouble on 24kg.
Another hook up though ony a pesky hammerhead on this occasion
Another month and a half to go so hope to get a few more animals on the ground and hopefully a decent landbased longtail or king.

Good stuff Tommo, good to see you with a critter or two on the ground, not to mention some great fish.
Great pics as always, cheers Macca.

Glad to see you have been able to get out and about and take some game and some nice fish. As Macca said great photos too. It would seem by what you have written you are going back overseas again? If so I hope you have some great times afield beforehand.

It was nice to get back out on some trout and also fling a few arrows out of old 'matchsticks'.
Yes Jeff I am heading back to South America but first am heading out for some fallow (tomorrow in fact), then a few days chasing tuna on the mid north coast, followed by some more fox whistling, goat and pig hunting down south and who knows what else!
Need a holiday after the holiday I reckon haha!

Sounds good, well yes it is good, no actually it is great! Pity I will be leaving this great country again though. Still I can always come back for another round when I have recovered from this trip iguess.
