Hunting partner for this weekend

#1 Post by Paul » Wed Apr 03, 2013 10:20 pm

I am looking for a hunting partner for this weekend coming 6,7,8th April. I have those dates booked at 'Jackals Hide' west of Tenterfield and my hunting partners had to cancel due to other commitments. This is a pay to hunt property see the review here: http://bowhunting-forum.com/showthread. ... rty-review
There are plenty of big billies and fallow deer on the property with plenty of close opportunities for us traditional bow hunters.

The price breakdown is as follows: we share the $25/day camping fee, you pay $30/day hunting fee and $40/ goat and $100/ deer taken.

**I am now leaving from Brisbane tomorrow lunch time if someone wants to jump in my car and share the fuel.**

I love hunting by myself and will be going regardless, but the property can support more hunters than just me for the weekend and it's a great opportunity for someone to hunt some fallow deer during the rut. Also I think it's a bit unfair to the owner to have only one paying bow hunter for 3 days at this time of the year as it is prime time to hunt croaking Fallow bucks.

Please send me a private message through this forum if you are interested.

Sounds like a great opportunity for someone, unfortunately it too far for me to drive otherwise I'd be in.

Hope you have a good weekend Paul.

Cheers......... Rod

Bugger, saw this after I had left Premer for Wisemans. Was very tempted, but with one Buggered knee i didn't think you would want a cripple tagging along. Hope All goes well for you. Cheers Roadie.
