Looks like some beautiful country mate; shame about the lack of game. All the best for the next trip.

Thanks fellas! I have to say though, all the photos are Rods doing, I just write the nonsense in between 'em!

You'll be right, Paul. Just stick with the program, mate and those contraptions will be in your past before you know it!

Great story Craig and great photos too Rod.

I own a compound too but it hasn't fired an arrow since before I joined Ozbow. However I think it is fine to use one if you feel like it..... It is far better to hunt with a wheely bow than to be weally lazy and stay at home (dweamin about walloping wabbits)

Cheers...... Rod

Nice pics, LB nothing wrong with shooting a compound as well. Kinda like having two girlfriends, one can cook and the other well  , you just dont want to give one of them up.......

Cheers Macca.

I was trying to get a better look at the bow he was holding when crossing the creek but it was not mentioned so thought it must have been a trick if the light. Last photo confirmed it.

Good onya Rod.

While I prefer Recurves and Longbows, I still love shooting my compounds.

Cheers

Endorse all the above comments about having 2 girlfriends. Love both equally.Using one bow and then returning to the other seems to revitalise oneself, with it.

Never shot a compound in my life, and I doubt I ever will. I'm a one woman man.

( Only raggin' Rod... 'cause I can! Truth is, I couldn't care less what choices other folk make. Good luck to ya regardless of your choice of bow and happy huntin'! )
