Getting back into it - sort of.

#1 Post by Tommo » Fri Mar 01, 2013 6:55 am

Just arrived back in Australia and having not really hunted much in two years while overseas have been hanging to get back into it.
Based in the ACT at present and first arvo back decided to have a walk in a local nature reserve with my whistle, predator call and camera only.
Called in two foxes and got a couple of pics. These are cropped down from the originals, I still need a longer lens, but anyway was happy enough to see a couple and their reactions when the shutter went off.
When I get out to some old stomping grounds it will be with bow and not camera in the hand, now that I am really looking forward to.

How long you back for Tommo? Must be hard having your heart in two places

G'day Mick, back for three months minimum, maybe longer depending on work.
It isn't easy at all. Be making the most of my time here that is for sure!

The last fox I shot at and missed.... Is said to myself..... Gee I wished I had of taken photos of it instead...

Cheers Guy
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!
