perry wrote:Steve, lucky you getting in all this Hunting - I reckon you have at least 3 times the chance of taking a Fallow Deer as I have - I've seen the same Fallow Deer 3 times on the Property I Hunt in the Nothern New England. He's beat me every time  which isn't too Hard  I wish you every success with it.

Thanks Perry, Last season I got to 20 meters of a buck thrashing his head on some saplings before the wind changed and sent him running. Jeff got a shot at close range but it jumped the string  and the arrow flew over his back. We are getting closer, seeing more and more before they see us. Cheers Steve

Steve,

Comments like these may lead one to believe that you maybe contemplating a possible compound shot on one of these fallow bucks...!
Would there be any truth to that mate...???

Cheers Guy

Nice work Steve. Did you take the skin off that fox too turn it into an arrow quiver or some other useful bit of kit?
A fallow skin would be handy too. Especialy that pretty one.

Hi Brett, yes I skinned the tail and have it drying at the property. By the time we got back hair was slipping so I couldn't take the whole hide. Steve
