Afternoon,
About to head out for a weekend of chasing four legged things around on my two legs in Wee Jasper State Forest.
Hunting partner has cancelled due to an eye infection. If anyone is keen to catch up for a hunt or a beer around the campfire shoot me a PM.

Sounds good mate, but a bit far for me
Re: Weekend hunt in Wee Jasper
Thanks for the well wishes.
I'm back obviously - not a lot of sign in the areas I checked - some old deer scat and few pig rippings.
But talk about busy - the state forest was like bloody pitt street (Well I saw 5 cars whilst out there)
But the real win was a few beers with locals at the tavern - scored 3 new properties with one of them being an absolute cracker, 1500 acres, 6kms of great trout river frontage, backs onto a national park and he has serious issues with both pigs and feral goats. (he runs a boer goat station and all the feral males come in after his prized shelias) Hasn't been hunted for 5+ years and I will be the only one allowed access as he does not allow rifles or doggers on period. Yee-haa - pays to ask.
