#1 Post by matt61 » Sun Sep 30, 2012 8:30 am

The first pic is of a little billy I shot from about eight meters,a good eating size. The next pics are of me stalking a small mob
and taking the nanny for meat.

Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.

Good stuff Matt. It's fun getting in nice and close to them. I also like the look of that Ol' Homestead.

Were those first few photos stills from a video camera or a normal digital camera?

Roasts, stews and curries, yum yum.Brad the man behind the digital camera is butcher by trade,so he showed me how to
bone out shoulders and legs.I like getting real close, for me thats the best part of the hunt seeing the whites of their eyes .Next to the old homestead is a fallen down workshop and stuck in a bit of concrete is a handcrank blacksmiths forge blower which I want to buy of property owner next time we go back. The first trip there, there was goats camping under the homestead.

Nothing is easy. That's why it's called hunting, and not killing
