A walk with a bow

#1 Post by looseplucker » Sat Sep 22, 2012 7:49 pm

Hello Chaps

Today Billb and I got out for a walk. He is an old fart with a buggered back. I am an old fart with a buggered knee. Anyhowzeroo we went out to a place and had a spiffing walk. We had bows with wheels, but I had my trad stuff in the ute, which still counts. We saw pig sign. We saw pigs - but they didn't make the sign. The ones we saw were in paddocks. Being organically farmed. We saw fox sign. No foxes. We stalked hares, but no shots.

No shots, nothing made dead. Who cares? What a bloody good day.

And we got to sledge a couple of French blokes about Rugby League.

Nothing not to like.

Best of all it is Raiders v Tigers in under 20s next week. Billb is preparing for bad news.

LALALALALALALA! yes it does. Anyhow I think Tom and Bill are going for another look today. Yesterday was more of a scouting session. I saw deer sign too - but most of the feral activity appeared to be a week or two old at least. Nothing too recent.

No it doesn't!

It will be good if you have a place with game that is reasonably close to home.

Yep. Good to have a couple. Hope the boys do good today. I'm at junior pennant tennis. And my knee is out of bounds. Roll on arthroscope!
