Solo trip to Moonie
I decided to get away for a few days hunting alone last week with a recurve I'd made. My camp was in a shearing shed,comfortable enough. I've been to this block a fair bit over the last 4-5 years. I'm not much chop at writing so I'll put up a couple pics I took
I found a bit of pig sign. A few shots of the country. I found a good spot where the pigs were obviously going through one of the fences. One afternoon I decided to wait in ambush at this location and managed to get a shot at a young boar. It was my first kill with my recurve. I made sure I ate well. With the rain around there were some nice sunsets. Does this sign ring a 'Bell' Jeff?

Hey, good job, Rod! Great sunset photos, too.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Great photos Rod - you're getting a bit "artsy" now aren't you with those pretty sunset shots.
A nice pig mate - to claim as a first for the 'curve... great to see some hunting shots again - I was going into withdrawals!
