In the metre club

#1 Post by karen » Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:55 pm

Went for a fish with hubby on the weekend at spot x (awoonga dam), it was a quiet morning, but acheived a milestone in the afternoon, cracked the magic metre barramundi.  It was a frantic arvo as I hooked up 2 other good fish only to have the lure spat out nearly in my face.  It was a fantastic outing, only 20 mins from home.

What a great lifestyle...gotta love Australia!
Do you and John want to adopt Gidget, Rod and myself? Gidget will clean the fish, I'll cook it and Rod will drink your beer!

Thanks for the comments guys, unfortunately I already have 2 children so I cannot afford to adopt anymore.
No ozzz we did not eat it, they are all freshies, so they are not real tasty and I like to put them back, as they are too nice a fish at that size. Certainly alot of fun catching them. ( Beats babysitting hey gidget).
Hey Big rod, Johns hat is magenta not pink.

Cheers Guy
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!
