Fox Whistles - tell me how it works!

Morning all,

as i have often read about Fox whistles here and in the stikbow emag, i would like to know more as this is something i know as much about as women .
First, are they bought or do do you somehow make em, what do they look like?
Whats youre result rate? From what ive read they work pretty well most of the time. Are there specific times when they are working better or is it day and year round?
Just tell me whatever you know about them.
From my research on the Internet it also seems like the Best and Original comes from Oz. Which is it? Where can i get one?
Background is that my brothers father in law has a Fox Problem on his hunting property but doesnt get them. It will be rifle hunting but i guess that doesnt affect the whistling.

Hi Axel.. the best exponent of Fox calling I have ever struck in my short career is Matt61 ? on this site. I have seen Matt H....utilise foot pumps to blow the whistle so hands free plus.... remote radio speaker to call fox's in plus... the good old whistle. Maybe you can draw him out for comment.
