Our annual trip to the Mitchell

#1 Post by Hilly » Sat Aug 07, 2010 6:41 pm

Well we are on our way home from another trip from the property were my son works on the Mitchell River which went verry well as i got 3 nice boar's & my partners son 6 nice size barra & my partner got a couple of nice barra as well. The first boar was a nice chunky one (which I know I got with the cable gun ) BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A RECURVE !!! & the other 2 were taken with the Raven Vanquish recurve that Dave Keable made for me. I hope the last boar that I got has broken the 25 pts for me. So here is a few pic's of me with the boars & Liam with a couple of barra 1 went 6 lbs & the other went 4 1/2 lbs he was verry happy & then the 3 sets of hooks in the same order.

Well-done!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.
