Ozbow Bow giveaway

Hello all.

I am very happy to announce that Ozbow will be giving away a Bow donated from the late Dennis La Varenne collection. The prize will be given to a story written up in the Competition Stories section of the site.

The Competition will run till after Christmas - early in the new year and can be a Hunting or Buildalong story.

The bow is an Imperial Archery Red Oak recurve 41# at 28, 64 amo

Fantastic idea and a fantastic looking bow.

Eddie, is there any criteria to the story? Can it be anything as long as archery is the center piece?

I realize time is a ticking.

Yes a story on hunting or a build Story. ( knife or bow )
As long as it is trad related.

Hi hell no this forum must not die: speaking for myself i have received many very useful bits and pieces of very useful information and help from the good people here.
I think the problem is, and i think its the same with the Aust Bowhunting Forum is that people are using all the different and sometimes fractured FB pages.
I much prefer to do it here!

what a great prize Eddy,i would love to win that bow that Denis made......does hunting toads in the back yard count ?hahaha heading down to texas in a few days so hopefully theres a few critters that want to play darts with me
