Ozbow DVD "Pass Around" - 'Arrow Making & .....'

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Tue Jun 15, 2010 5:04 pm

'Arrow Making & Setting Up Recurves and Longbows' by Stoney Wolf Productions

To help simplify the process and to help keep track of who has the DVD and who wants it here are few guide lines.

1. Once you have viewed the DVD and are ready to pass it on please make a post here saying just that.

2. Only make a request for the DVD once the person who currently has it posts that he is ready to pass it on. Once you have posted your request in this thread PM your postal details to the person who stated he was ready to pass it on.

3. Once you have sent the DVD onto the next person please make a post here stating you have done this.

4. When you receive the DVD please post that it is in your possession.

5. Please remember that there will most likely be others waiting to view the DVD so once you have received it please watch it and be ready to pass it on in say a week’s time. If there are no requests for it please keep it in a safe place until a request is made and then send it on promptly.

6. Please take care of this DVD so it is available for others to enjoy for a long time to come.

Yeah that is right Paul but I'm sure it won't matter wether Mark or Bill gets it next just so long as the other gets it after that. I just wanted it noted how we hoped things would work so as to not only keep it fair for everyone but also to help keep track of the DVD's. :D

Viewed this DVD and found that it took away from me a number of things that I believed to be correct, :?, the DVD presenter stated that a right hand archer needs to shoot arrows fletched with left hand helical. I always thought that the left hand helical would spin away the arrow from its true flight path for a right handed shooter :?:. not so much the worry about the fletching hitting the arrow shelf. :!: The setting up of the arrow on top of the nocking point instead of under. Under the nocking point, stops the arrow from sliding off. :?: Dipping of an arrow without an overflow bowl. Just a couple of points to ponder for now.........Bill

Jeff, ......by the looks of things, Steven J should currently be holding the DVD, if not Morton may still have it, but I don't think so, :o knowing Morton he is on the ball and would have sent it off to Steven J. :?: as to my comments, they were posted after I viewed the DVD and reviewed the presenters comments and statements. I hope this helps finding the location of the DVD :) ..........Bill
