Ranger Bows video

#1 Post by The Ranger » Mon Mar 10, 2014 10:12 am

G'day everyone, I recently had a fellow buy one of my one piece recurves. It turns out that he has a website where he takes photos all over the world and also does videos. He wanted to do a video of me and what goes into making one of my bows and do a bit of a story on me. Not that I'm one to blow my own trumpet, but I think it ended out pretty well. If you're interested in watching it, I've added the link.

It goes for just over 4 minutes. Hope you enjoy.

That's the one piece bow that Alfonso, the videographer bought. Yep, nice bow. Made with Burbinga and Red Elm limbs.

Thanks bigbob, as you saw in the video, I've only been making bows for a few years but I'm happy with the end product. Yours are pretty good too. I love your use of the Hairy Oak on the limbs of the longbow on your facebook page. Beautiful grain.

Awesome!

Great start and another 'Aussy" bowyer makes is now known to the world!

You really know what its about, my hats off mate!

I am particularly pleased you have a Starter bow and also have your sons support. Well done Stuart.
