Ghetto bow quiver

I have been thinking about trying to make my own bow quiver for quite a while and couldn't figure out what to use for arrow grippers. My local clark rubber closed down over a year ago so I was at bit of an impasse. Then today I found this video. The answer to my problem? THONGS! The man's a genius, LOL.

I don't really like how his points are just stickin out like that, but I do like the bottom part. Maybe I'll try making a rawhide doggie chew hood :biggrin:

Wow , very clever , and was quite impressed by the look of it , i was expecting something looking a bit shabbier than how they turned out.
Viewing on another pathfinder ( common man ) video i was also fairly well impressed on how well that PRIMAL GEAR UNLIMITED survival bow actually shot , 50 or 60 lb limbs and only $120 odd dollars .
it looked ugly as sin , but certainly functional , and only weighs 2lb's

:smile: If you only slot it so it fits firmly over the bow limb no need for cable tie. 8) then again you may need two, to stop it splitting further, one either side. :oops: :idea:

I went and bought a couple of pairs of thongs from Big W today for about 3 bucks each and made one of these quivers this afternoon. Pretty happy with it, I'll post some pics when the camera battery's recharged :roll:
