Hard Rock Maple Selbow.

#1 Post by GrahameA » Thu Sep 01, 2011 9:55 am

Morning All.

There has been a fair bit of discussion about Daryl's Hard Rock Maple D-Section Selfbow. http://www.ozbow.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=11566

So here are a couple of videos of it in use. No Comments on the "form" of the Archer.

fps=frames per second

The first video was shot at 300fps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9JMnVwV5pc

The second video was shot 600fps and I have stretched the timeline so in effect it appears as if was shot 1200fps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR8jAAyNjLE

I apologise for the poor quality of the video, that is a consequence of the resolution and then zooming in. Did it the wrong way. Notice just how much the bow jumps around when it is shot. For those that are really interested compare the way the limbs move dynamically as compared to being drawn and let down on a tillering board.

Shoot a Selfbow, embrace Wood Arrows, discover Vintage, be a Trendsetter.
