Woodie, I can honestly say it impressed the hell out of me. Maybe they took years off the life of the bow by doing that and I sure wouldn't want that one to be the one I bought but I reckon there are quite a few bows that would have been immediately unusable as bows with that treatment.

Sorry, it doesnt work.

The Blog of the company is also available in english:

http://www.bearpaw-blog.com/

The online shop however is just in German:

http://217.24.55.74/cgi-bin/WebObjects/ ... Name=Gast0

hope it works this time.

In the Navigation on the left go to "Bögen" then "Jagdrecurve" and on page 2 is the "Reiterbogen Horsebow Express".

Sorry i wasnt able to find a english site/retailer with this particular bow. You could search for Bearpaw Horsebow Express/Deluxe.

Ahhh, here is one from the UK:

If it's German precision based craftsmanship your wanting- http://www.bogenbau-biebel.de/index.html
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Morning All.

If it is the bow I think it is, "Horsebow", it is great for people with a short draw. It stacks somewhat at adult draw lengths.

To make it sure i asked Chris (the one who abused the bow) and it is a "Horsebow Express". But he says he does the same with all kinds of bows to be sure they are up to the job.

Though, let me say this:
I do not want by any means to advertise their products. I do not say they are bad nor good. Its just there are controversies about them and i for myself do not own much from this brand though it is easiest and cheapest to get round here.
And remember the Thread about the self nock tool....
Thanks g_r

I must say that that bit in the last paragraph has me intrigued. :?:

well, my english isnt that good if i am not concentrating enough. What i wanted to say is that this company is a love it or hate it thing here. Much discussions are going on, and in some Forums they are a bit like a red flag in a bullfight.

I hope its clearer now, Sorry
