weight or spine??

#1 Post by Blinkybill » Tue Oct 06, 2009 12:00 pm

Hi all!
I was just thinking,
If you have some shafts that are overspined by 10# or so, would you be better off using a lighter point to keep the weight of the arrow down, or should you get a heavier point in order to decrease the spine of the arrow but resulting in a heavy arrow?
Thanks,

Ben

If they fly well leave them be . If they are acting overspined increase the point weight .

more point weight. another option, if possible, is to reduce strike plate thickness to move the arrow closer to center shot. or longer arrows next time.

swap them with someone else or save them for when you get a heavier draw bow.
