125/150gr heads

hey all ....just question.... will give you a run down on the bow ..... samick phantom recurve ..60lb limbs I'm drawing 51lb...centre cut is 1/16 b50 Flemish string.....currently shooting 1916 alum arrows @28 with 125gr and 150 gr (both shoot well)..... arrow weight is 441 and 471grs is this set up good enough for pigs and fallow deer....I would like to up the FOC and arrow weight ...but its doing my head in ....any help appreciated

You will get more "reliable" penetration with a heavier Arrow but you will make meat with that set up assuming everything is set up correctly. I would test your Arrows with Broadheads before Hunting though as a Broadhead of the same weight may fly to a different point of impact than a Field Point.

thanks perry.....that is with broadheads..they shoot fine ......although I would like to get the FOC up...have tried a 1916 cut to 26.5'' with a 200gr head.....seems to fly pretty good
