hi everyone im pretty much a noob when it comes to the tech side of recurve shooting so any help would be much appreciated
i shoot split fingers always have i cant shoot 3under now this is were i get worried!!
i have a brand spanking ne BORDER BLACK DOUGLAS ULTRA DX with Hex6bb2 limbs
i went out today first time i had a chance to try to tune her and i measured the tiller and the tiller was dead even on both limbs
now does this means its been tillerd for 3 under or not?
i cant see anyway to adjust it any ideas
or am i just over thinking it and its suppose to be even ?

Howdy mate, I have noticed if your nock is set for proper arrow flight, no matter what the tiller you should see no difference between split or 3 under only the point of impact.

cheers macca i was getting real worried i might have had to send her back!
so i should just keep adjusting nock up and down till the porposeing stops like normal?

Hi Beast, if the the arrow is porpoising or you are getting shelf contact and it can't be tuned out with nocking point adjustment then yes it will need a shim under the top limb pad or sending back for adjustment. Send them an email to see if they have record of how it was tillered and their advice for remedy. Steve
