Rigid Formaster Training Aid

#1 Post by CraigH » Thu Aug 29, 2013 8:54 pm

Does anyone use the Rigid Formaster Training Aid for supplement practice / back tension training?

Any experience or feedback on it?

I use one that I made myself. It is very good for reinforcing back tension on the draw but for the release is only recommended for below 40lb bows due to the possibility of muscle damage. I use it when I can' get to shoot and to review form.

Thanks Brainflex for the reply.

I have heard of people using 2 dog collars for the elbow straps. What did you use for the straps?

Made mine from a seatbelt, already got an metal eye in one end. Worked out the loop size needed and then added an extra. Called at a local auto upholsterer and got it stitched properly
