There was a you tube post quite a while ago and it showed an archery range i think in Germany and they had a device much like a caterpult with a foot lever which looket quite effective.

A skeet thrower could probably work quite effectively with maybe tennis balls or something like that. But i would use flu flu arrows with blunts. And have a drop sheet hanging behind so you dont have to walk too far to get your arrows.

You would need to spend quite a while practicing, walking 80-100m would slow your frequency down too much.

Unless you can get someone to throw the tennis balls for you :wink:

Very late reply.

I'm right handed and left eye dominant. For that reason I was told/taught to shoot left handed when I started. To be honest, it was all rather clumsy and odd at first, so I doubt it would have mattered which way round I shot, it wouldn't have been easier or more comfortable.

I do target, field, trad, indoor, the lot. And I shoot all of them both eyes open. Can't say I'm a top shot, but it seems to work OK generally.
