New Bushcraft kit (Knives)

I just got this set from Matt at ML Knives. I thought I would place it in here instead of Cutting Edge as this is what I refer to as my 'old school' looking bush tools.

I basically wanted a straight, no fuss set that could do an array of tasks. The large/small combo does the trick!

It works well and I might go out tomorrow and see what I can find up the top of Peregrine Lookout. Its a great trail and there should be some good cold water in the creek... :)

I think the bottom one is a striker for the flint?

Actually I was just kidding with you.. that is actually a special tool for removing the oysters from small marsupials... they are a delicacy where gundy comes from... *cough* .. victoria.. They all have them down there.. they just normally don't talk about it.

Edit to add: Whoops, I see you are from Victoria... are you trying to pretend you don't have one?

Mick.
